Clearview Golf Club - East Canton Ohio

LPGA/USGA Girls Golf Program is a national program for girls from 7 - 17. This year round program is designed so that girls are able to learn the game of golf in a fun and non-threatening environment. Click here for the schedule. For more on the LPGA, follow this link.

Clearview Junior Golf Program is a 5 week program open to boys & girls from 8 – 15. Classes are small, Tuesdays beginning June 18th (June 18, 25 July 2, 9, 16). Following the 5 weeks of instructions, there will be 4 weeks of course play. Entry deadline is June 4th.

Sunday Couples. Sunday Couples is a great way to spend a fun & relaxed afternoon.. The group plays every other week beginning the first week of May and concluding the first week of October.

Clearview Ladies Golf Association. This is a well established league that plays on Thur. mornings. They also host the very popular Ladies Day Clinic each year. This is the longest continuous running ladies golf league at a daily fee course in the Canton area.

Ladies on the Links Golf League. Is a fun, friendly Wed. evening league. League play begins the first week of May and continues thru the end of August.

Ladies Instructional 3 Hole Golf League. Is for new golfers, those who have been away from game for a while, or those who want to play, but have a limited about of spare time. Lessons and golf from 6:30 - 8:30 every Wednesday evening.

Seniors. Our seniors are special – league members play on Tues. mornings. Play begins the first week of May thru the end of September.

Friday Men’s Golf League. Is a chance to unwind after a busy work week! League play begins the first week May through the end of August.

Clearview Club Championship. Has been running continuously since the early 1950's. All league members are eligible to compete in addition to all regular players who have played at least 20 rounds at Clearview during the year. Club Championship runs 4 Sundays in Sept.

Clearview HOPE (women veterans program).
This is a program for any woman serving in the military currently or past. We have women who are from all branches of service, who have served from the Vietnam era to Afghanistan. This is a cost free program for all of our women. If you need clubs we will provide them for you.Golf is not only a recreational sport but also very therapeutic.
We have a 5 week session for those who have never played, but would like to learn, a 3 Hole League for those who have played a little and a 9 Hole League for the more avid golfer. Golf is on Fridays and begins for all 3 groups on June 7th.

May 26	"Swing Into Spring" -Start the season off with a fun golf event. Call the course for details. Click here for our flyer.
June 3	Ladies Day Clinic. Is conducted by 2003 PGA First Lady of Golf, Renee Powell. This will be a hands-on opportunity with Demonstration (clinic), Application (play 9 holes), and Communication (Q&A). This year's theme is "Having Fun while Scoring Well". Lunch is provided by the Clearview Ladies Association. Clinic begins at 9 a.m., followed by golf, and concludes after Q&A at 2 p.m. Cost for the day is $35. June 9	Fore the Love of the Game Dinner. In honor of PGA Hall of Fame member Bill Powell, co-hosted by NFL Hall of Fame member Franco Harris.
June 10	Clearview Legacy Foundation LPGA Pro-Am- featuring members from the LPGA Tour. Betsy King, World Golf Hall of Fame member returns for 2012 fundraiser along with other outstanding professional golfers. June 24	The Ohio First Tee Cup now called the William Powell Ohio First Tee Cup will be played at Clearview with First Tee Chapters from Canton, Akron, Cleveland, Mahoning County and several other chapters.
July 6	Historic Links Along the Lincoln Highway Golf Scramble - Join us as the Lincoln Highway celebrates its 100th anniversary during Independence Week of our country and we have fun with a 4 person scramble and a July cookout.
July 20	The Dennis Walters Golf Show - Trick shot artist Dennis Walters and his amazing dog Bucky return to Clearview. Program is free to the public and hosted by the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf and Clearview HOPE, women military veterans. There is no other golf show anywhere like this. Look up Dennis on the internet, he is paralyzed from the waist down, but hit the ball long and perfect. You may have seen him on Golf Channel, but see him live at Clearview.
August 24	2013 William Powell Clearview Celebrity Golf Tournament. Special Guest to be announced in addition to the our list of celebrities for this 4 person scramble.
Sep 21	Marcella Powell Memorial 4 Lady Scramble
Oct 12	Festive Fall Scramble- Enjoy the beauty of Clearview in the Fall. Join us for an 18 hole 4 person scramble followed with chilli, cornbread, and dessert.
